People don't understand that no player has ever won a title on his own. No one.
It takes 2 or 3 really good players. Michael never had that until Pippen. Kobe never had that without Shaq/Gasol. And guess what, those players never won until they had those players around them.
LeBron has never had another really good player around him until this year.
In fact, LeBron leading that Cavs to the Finals in '07 may be the best example of one player almost leading a team to a championship in NBA history. But then they got crushed by San Antonio, because guess what, they had 3 or 4 really good players.
