Sad day. When Hendrick let him go and signed Dale Jr I was pissed. I get it he wasn’t as likable and marketable as Jr but behind the wheel he was a beast. Went on to dominate though. RIP.

There was a local pharmacist here in Birmingham (Helena area) that died back around 2010 or so. He was late 30s, healthy, with a family. Caught a sinus infection that killed him quickly. I think it was about a week from start to finish.

Terrifying how that can happen.
