I can name two current players in the WNBA Caitlyn and Angel( only because she played at LSU)I watched some highlights, that’s about it I think these players and owners need to thank her for the attention

Do these people not realize that a rising tide rises all ships? Players were salty about the attention that Michael Jordan received as a rookie (Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas famously led a freeze out of him at the All-Star game), but guess what? Michael Jordan helped increase the leagues appeal exponentially and made everyone involved more money. Same with Tiger Woods. A lot of veterans didn't like the attention he received as a young unproven player, but then he borught increased attention and ratings and increased the purses for everyone.
The WNBA had more attention last year than probably the previous 20 years combined. It had a level of interest and excitement and rating and instead of everyone being happy that it's all happening shortly before a new CBA is due they're bitching incessantly that they're not getting enough of their due. Is the growth of the league all about Caitlin Clark? Maybe not, but you'd be lying to yourself if you said she wasn't the biggest catalyst.
Angel Reese is a fine player, but so were a lot of WNBA players over the years and none of them moved the needle like Clark has. They're going to spend so much time quibbling over who should get credit they're going to miss the chance to seize the golden opportunity the league has been waiting 28 years for. This is your moment, EMBRACE IT!
