Despite his shitty play, one must respect Rudolph for not backing down once his head gear was removed.

Garrett was fined twice this season for amounts totaling more than $50,000. He received a $10,527 fine for an excessive facemask penalty on Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker and was fined $42,112 for a roughing the passer penalty on New York Jets quarterback Trevor Siemian, which resulted in his season-ending broken ankle.
The third-year player attempted to dismiss the notion he was a dirty player after a four-penalty game against the Jets in September.

The tackle wasn’t too, TOO bad. It was slow, though. MG knew that and any reasonable human would have ended the tackle when Rudolph hit the ground.
MG didn’t. He even put his weight on Rudolph after the damn tackle.
MR then got all squirrelly and started the “we’re now allowed to push each other” segment of the situation.
It wasn’t easy for MG to rip the helmet off and THAT alone should have signaled to MG that he was past the line. Way past it. That alone should have sufficed. Hitting MR should be 8 games and I’d be fine if MG was charged with something.
I’m most embarrassed that Rudolph went at MG like a complete bitch and then threw his hands up after getting hit and then got pushed and THEN stood there. You have to go out trying to kill someone in that spot.

Darren Rovell is here to put this into some real perspective

Upon further review, it appears Rudolph was trying to pull Garrett's helmet off after the takedown, which likely caused Garrett to do the same.
Now the head shot with the helmet will get him suspended for the rest of the year.
Pouncey was defending Rudolph, but he will get a couple of games at least.

Pistons/Pacers game In early 2000s, where the players went into the stands to fight fans was prob closest I've seen ...

Nah, the retards are saying he was using the helmet to get back up or his finger got stuck in his helmet which caused it to tug his helmet

quote:Yeah if Garrett stops once he’s pulled the helmet off then it’s just typical back and forth bullshite. Using the helmet as a weapon was when he took things to a completely different level. Reminds me of the Happy Gilmore quote about stabbing a guy with his skate.

I mean watch the video. His left hand is stuck. He has a glove on that hand so it makes sense.

Garrett shouldn't have hit Rudolph with the helmet but after seeing it play out I think Rudolph had it coming.
Pouncey should be suspended for acting the way he did. Myles wasn't doing a damn thing with Decastro on top of him.
DeCastro is the only one that I have no issue with. He handled himself appropriately given the circumstance.

Being hit in the head with his own helmet is something he had coming?

I'm giving him a raise if I am the Steelers GM today. It is Pouncey's job to protect his QB at all costs.

Pouncey didn’t do any damage unfortunately.

Garret should be booted from the league for that crap.

The Pouncey twins are an ESPN 30-30 waiting to happen. They’ve got some skeletons

Yes. Rudolph was acting like a brat after he got sacked. He was obviously giving Garrett the business after the play. Once everyone was back on their feet and the Steelers O-line were engaged with Garrett, Rudolph should have chilled. Instead he acted like a coward and started to run his mouth more...then WHOP! Had it coming.

Garrett was holding Rudolph down after a late takedown. Rudolph shouldn't have to just lie there and take it.
It was normal pushing and shoving until Garrett ripped Rudolph's helmet off and cracked him in the head with it.
Pouncey reacted the way people do to something that's never happened before. I have no issues with it and hope he doesn't get suspended.
Garrett should be gone for the rest of the year. That's basically unprecedented violence.

All I can say about this post is wow.
