I bet Lamar and the Ravens blow out Josh and the Bills for the second time this season next week, but they will still give it to Allen

How do you explain those same AP voters voting Lamar first team All-Pro over Allen by a fairly wide margin (30 first place votes for Lamar compared to 18 for Allen)? Would make zero sense to say Lamar was the better player at his position and then not give him MVP.

Lamar had 5 all pro teammates and is the 4 seed

Allen had 0 all pro teammates and is the two seed

Don’t not see how Allen can get the MVP while Lamar gets 1st team?

Not sure why this is getting downvoted. It's true when he ends up forced to throw in 2ndvand 3rd and longs in a tight playoff game.

Allen also sat 11 quarters this year due to blowing teams out. That doesn’t really get talked about when comparing their stats
