Yeah, I have/had been a Saints fan and an NFL fan since 1980, but the no-PI call vs the Rams in the NFCCG soured me on the sport and just left me feeling dirty. Now all the bull shite roughing the passer penalties that literally change outcomes of games make me like it even less.
I took a hiatus from the NFL during Covid. Then Brees retired and the Saints have a lot of unlikable guys on their team, Michael Thomas and others, so frick the Saints. And that crime and rat-infested city while we are at it.
I don't care about pro football teams anymore. I'm 50 years old. Allegiances change. It just isn't in me to pull for a team with players I don't like.
I like Joe Burrow. I like Ja'Marr Chase. They brought me joy in 2019 with how they played and brought glory to my Alma mater. I have no problem rooting for those guys to do well. Most of the rest of the NFL can frick off, as well as those of you on here who are getting off on criticizing people who feel this way.
Have you thought about moving to Cincy?

No. Why would I move to Cincinnati? Is there a rule I have to live in the town of the players I like?
I enjoy watching Mathieu when he was in KC and nobody wants CEH to succeed more than me. He is a great guy. Does that mean I need to move to KC?
Like I said, I don't give a shite about teams. I just root for players.

The ones who root for the St. Louis Cardinals are even worse, believe it or not. I don't have any idea how much overlap there is in the fanbases

I guess you've never heard of Nick Bolton? He was a Mizzou player that starts for the Chiefs. You know, the team that just beat the LSU Bengals?

Since Mahomes was drafted the Saints have the best record in the NFL outside of them. Even after this season no one in the NFC is within 5 games of the saints over that 6 year span.
