I thought you might be a bit sad at the play of late so I pulled the poem out maybe to cheer y'all up...

Ebbets Field flannels. They are probably worth a nice amount because Ebbet's field flannels has not been allowed to make them anymore since the 90's. NHL does not allow them anymore. talk about nice!

So Ottawa's Erik Karlsson resumed skating/practicing on the 19th, and is participating in the Sens game day skate right now.
Unlikely to play tonight, but will be back shortly.

yup. they are top of the line. I was wearing my Maurice Richard one on St. Catherines street and i remember getting a compliment from an old french man. He really liked it, especially the old school styling.

Who do you guys think gets left out of the East?
I think Winnipeg is the likely easy pick, having one less game than Wash/NYR/Ott.
The NYI get Carolina, Philly, and Buffalo while NYR get Florida, Carolina, NJD.
Highly doubt Peg can pass either of them as they likely win out and for the Isles they only need one win anyways, and I don't see the Rangers losing 2 between Car, NJD, FLA.
Ottawa on the other hand has @WAS, PHI, @BOS. I could see Peg taking the 8 seed from the Sens if Peg can beat both the Caps and Habs but I don't know if they can do that.
Peg does have the tiebreaker over Ottawa, but one less game left and trail by a point.

Habs and Bruins tied for first with 3 games left with 59 pts?
Winner will get 2 seed and loser gets 4? This is year I wished it was back with 4 divisions and play each other in playoffs. Made for more heated series IMO.

I am conflicted obviously, on one hand, I want Winnipeg to make the playoffs, the fans in the Peg' have obviously suffered without NHL hockey and no playoffs for too many years. On the other hand it's good for the NHL to have an interested Ovie plying his trade and I take a perverse kind of pleasure from watching the finger pointing and blame game that goes on every year in our nation's capital....then again y'all could still make the playoffs even if you don't win the SE, theoretically so could Winny...so I dunno...
