My homer pick would have to be Colston. His talents are mostly dismissed due to playing with Drew Brees and he's never been to the Pro Bowl despite averaging over 1000 yards a season. I would say he is the #1 most underrated player in the entire league, but he's up there.

Can't believe it took 5 pages. Goes to show that most people still don't know who he is.

224 consecutive games played, 14 full years. 1,850 tackles, 35 sacks, 38 turnovers. Active leader for most tackles since the year 2000. His production is very comparable to Ray Lewis, but it's fair to say Lewis has had much better supporting casts. Last year at the ripe age of 36 he led the league in tackles, again. One of the best undrafted free agents. He should be a 1st ballot Hall of Famer

Percy Harvin. He's finally starting to get some love this year but I feel he's still a bit underrated by most.

I doubt he's been mentioned yet, but my vote would go to Colin McCarthy.

Tony Romo because a decent bit of the population thinks he is bad to average, which is just absurd.

Brees, Manning, Percy (some people have called him the MVP), Ngata, Haden, etc. should all be out because everyone always says how good they are.

most people just hate on the guy because of who he plays for. You have to be pretty good in order to get some hate from others most of the time. I don't like the Cowboys but Romo is a helluva QB in my opinion. To me, a lot of the Cowboys problems are beyond his control.

I still think lineman should get more of a nod here though when talking about underrated players. The skill guys get all the stats and most of the glory.

And I completely agree with you. He preserves though an inept organization, and he continues to be a great QB.

There was recently a thread on Romo and a large number of posters had him outside of the top 10 or even below average. shite, a bunch of stupid posters even think they should get rid of him. There is really no way he should even be considered outside of the top 8.
