1971 all-star game at Tiger Stadium. REGGIE Jackson hits the light posts in right field. Its the only thing that stopped it from leaving the stadium. MAMMOTH SHOT!!!!!

This is the only answer that is correct IMO. If you dont rank this as the most impressive then you just didnt see it. Hit the top of the light post on top of the stadium and it was on the way up!!

In 2004, I went to a Reds-Dodgers game in Cincinnati, and Adam Dunn crushed one into the Ohio River

I remember Jose Canseco hitting one in the upper deck of the Skydome.
In person, I saw Jose hit one off the facade of the third level of the Superdome about 20 years ago. It was a preseason game between the A's and the Dodgers. Massive blast. Probably in the midst of his steroid days.

The game took place 12 years before I was born, all he mentioned was that it hit a light on the roof in right field and kept in the stadium. I've never even seen the play or know the circumstances of the home run, I'm simply pointing out for something to be "The most impressive home run..." it has to at least do something that plenty of people before him have done (hitting it out of the stadium over the RF roof).

If you read my post correctly you would see that the light tower was the only thing keeping it in the stadium. It is widley know that if the light tower wasn't there, It would have been the longest HR hit EVER!!!! It was a mammoth shot. If you ever see the VID you would agree.

I think Brad Hawpe's in the 2000 CWS was better...against USC.

I can understand that, one really had to see it. I was 10 years old and watching with my old man and a buddy. When he hit it I said "shite" and got chewed out. It hit the top of that light pole in what seemed like a split second. You could hardly follow the ball flight even in the replay!

Boys; boys; boys -- dukke v. and Doldil -- you 2 take it easy.

I found a website called "Hit Tracker" that gives info on home runs. The link below is to the page on Jackson's All-star game homer. It estimates that Jackson's homer would have traveled 532 feet if it hadn't hit the light transformer.

Maybe a little third party info about the homer will help get your discussion back on the subject.

(NOTE: I assume the reference on this page to Comerica Park is a misprint since it clearly states at the top that the homer was hit at Tiger Stadium).
