Is this historically or within the last couple of years?

I was thinking with the past 5 years to a decade. And no, I'm not talking about hockey to you other fools here. I could be dead wrong, but I'd bet that most schools have a baseball team instead of a hockey team. So, yeah, baseball is obviously the 3rd sport I'm talking about.

On national tv, or in regional attendance?

arguing over attendance and national tv ratings between college hockey and baseball is like arguing over who is the tallest midget. they both pale in comparison to football and basketball. neither of those sports are broadcast nationally during their regular seasons except on espnU.

You post links showing that hockey out draws baseball, but you are trying to argue the opposite. I can't figure out what you are trying to do here. Haha

A lot of schools would put women's hoops over baseball in the big 3.

Either way Stanford has to be considered on anyone's list.

To be fair, women's hoops, even though I hate it, is far more popular nationally than baseball or hockey and should be the third sport considered.

The answer differs whether you are talking about the big 3 in the north or the big 3 in the south.

In the north it's Michigan and Michigan state right now, Wisconsin is up there too.

Not arguing the opposite, I'm saying the college hockey is bigger than most southerners realize and college baseball is bigger than most northeners realize.

College baseball isn't a "big 3" sport. It is a distant 3rd at best on par with women's basketball, hockey and maybe even lacrosse at some schools.

The fact you put baseball before basketball makes me think you are truly delusioned
