Israeli girl won a Gold medal in the Para Olympics. They handed her the medal in her wheelchair and proceeded to play the wrong anthem. She stopped them and while they were fumbling all around embarassed, she lead them all in the singing of the Israeli anthem a capella.

As has been mentioned, the death of Thurman Munson was a pretty big blow to me as a kid. Not sure why, but it was.
I was also a kid when Monday Night Football and The Patriots welcomed back Darryl Stingley, a year after Jack Tatum turned him into a quadriplegic.
This is when MNF was at its peak and was still a HUGE event. I still remember the size of the lump in my throat.

I was at the first game after Dan Snyder died in the car crash with Danny Heatley for the Thrashers. His parents were there and bagpipes playing Amazing Grace. Bawled like a little girl.

When Stan the man died
If the Blues win a cup, i might cry like a school girl. 35+ years waiting for the ultimate goal.
to say it's frustrating is one thing.
