Yep there was going to be 3+ seconds added on if Flynn to Byrd went incomplete.
Colt David wasn’t automatic - this was a great call by Les either way.

Billy Mills
The,"Look at Mills".
Billy Mills 1964 10,000 meters Olympic Gold Medal Race
YouTube
The call by Dick Bank "look at Mills, look at Mills" ranks right up there with Russ Hodges and AL Michaels as one of the great calls in sports history. Totally underrated and off the radar. The unbridled joy and enthusiasm makes it a classic. Almost inconceivable that Dick Auerbach head of NBC Sports would fire him next day for being unprofessional

Gleason’s blocked punt vs Atlanta
Porter pick-6 in the SB
Hartley’s OT field goal to send the Saints to the SB
The Matzek 3-consecutive K’s on the Dodgers and Soler moonshot in WS.
Added 1 under the radar from that Braves title run is Freddie taking an unhittable Josh Hader deep to center field in B8 to get Braves over Divisional series hump
Tiger’s recent Masters victory

I grew up in a strong Christian house and we had church the night of both the nfc title and Super Bowl. We’ll my dad is weird and wanted to watch both games from the beginning which forced my mom and I to retreat to my room to listen to the end of both games on the radio (our church service didn’t end until 8 both nights). At the time I was incredibly frustrated but I wouldn’t trade that for the world now. My mom and I were both crying and hugging as they won both games. It was just a special moment

Instead of chills, I would describe it as something I will never see again. Secretariat at the Belmont was my golden moment. I watched it live when I was 13. Even at such a young age I just knew it was something special. It is called a record but talk about something that will never be broken is way he did that day.

If you get chills watching others accomplish something, how do you feel about your own accomplishments?
