I see people acting surprised on game threads every week. Home advantage has an effect on referees. Calls tend to go to the home team. This has been studied and reported in scientific journals.

That leverage call was a bit weak, I've seen some much more blatant ones not called.

They need Lynch to get going to have a chance.
Not likely on this defense, particularly if Willis is back.

That's not me being a homer. They need Jackson to play perfect.

If I was Seattle I'd be more worried about the defense. Hold SF to FG's and you always have a shot to win come the 4th Q. Pitt tonight didn't limit their mistakes and had costly "big" mistakes leading to cheap/easy SF points making the game out of reach.

the 49ers have been getting consistent pressure blitzing 4 against the steelers all night. as a saints fan this worries me.

Brees's worst games have been when he is forced to move as soon as the ball is snapped

Timmons wasn't running forward though.. also the center lifted his head and ran forward himself.

Damn this Pitt O-line has been shite, they haven't been any good in a few years, but they are horrible tonight.

Saints O-line is 10X better than Steelers. Steelers have had a horrid O-line for some time, they allow Ben to get hit many times every game. Plus Drew moves around the pocket very well and avoids pressure, he also releases the ball very quickly. Comparing Apples to Oranges here...

MNF has sucked all year and this game isn't any different. ESPN tried to build this game as the best of the week but with Ben hurt this is fricking awful.

Seattle has no chance. So we play Detroit at home and then go to SF and then Lambeau. will be tough to get to SB

Yep, but again I'm not so sure it's a foregone conclusion that someone doesn't upset GB before we ever play them. I don't expect that to happen, but there's always a chance

If you are a Niners Fan, are you impressed with this win, ok with beating an injured Steelers team or mad that this win is diminished because of the injured Steelers team?

Some dangerous teams for them to play:

ATL/NYG/PHILLY/DALLAS

Big niner fan here, I'm very happy with this win. Our oline is beat up. We are down two of top three wrs and freaking Patrick Willis!! Every team has injuries, however each team also has COACHES to make adjustments. Harbaugh out coached tomlin, and I think harbaugh has a bright future.
