LOL at NBA barely over a billion 1/2 more than NHL, which is literally on one of worst tv deals ever nationally in USA
I do have to ask. Can anyone say why this is so? When the NBA has more of the worlds most valuable franchises ? And it’s that far from the MLB?

Also. Enough with MLB being America.
NFL is.
MLB has far too many foreigners

The NHL is showing the most growth
The NBA might or might not have a 1.5 billion deal in China
MLB just went over $10 billion in revenue for the first time last season. That's more than double the revenue ten years ago (2009)
In 2019 the Cowboys had 950 million in revenue, which was more than the entire MLS made combined.

A majority of our best youth players have been developed in Europe Bc they can get a euro passport some leave earlier than others but most bolt first chance they get

Limp wrested, Blue parents have had their kids playing soccer for over 40 years. They grow up and either quit watching sports or get into real ones.

Didn’t they say soccer would be huge in America back in 1994 when the World Cup was here?
Here we are 26 years later

MLS in Atlanta is already more popular than the Falcons. At least in rearms of actual butts in the seats.
Winning the MLS title is apparently the same as winning the Super Bowl.

You are spot on ! It will NEVER surpass MLB. Hell, I know nothing about hockey but would watch it in a heartbeat over soccer.

MLS seems to be getting more popular, not that I will ever watch it. I like the World Cup, that’s about the only soccer I’ll watch.

Don't know about surpass given how ingrained baseball is to American culture. But soccer is easy to learn and you don't need any equipment but the ball. It'll definitely grow and establish a bigger niche in the US sports landscape. That said, I think it will always be 5th place at best.

Baseball is gonna die off unless the owners and commissioner ruin the game as much and as quickly as possible.

That’s a little bit misleading because they are including revenue that the stadium generates from non NFL events (basketball, boxing, concerts, etc.) as well.
But yeah your overall point is right.

Every little kid has been playing soccer since the 80s.
It's the #1 youth sport in the US until they get old enough to play anything else.
I say this as someone who loves the game, grew up playing club soccer, and kids play club soccer now.

MLB is $3.5 billion behind the NFL (the highest revenue league on this planet) and $4.5 billion ahead of the NBA.
It is the second highest revenue league on this planet despite having at least 95% of their revenue come from North America. They have done frick all with Europe and Africa and have barely done anything with Asia other than steal a few dozen players over the last 30 something years.
The NBA is maxed out globally and can’t even reach high enough to fluff MLB’s ballsack and you are talking about baseball dying?
