Braves/White Sox just got delayed until June.

Why MLB thought it was a good idea to send the Braves to Philly and Chicago in late March/Early April and then have the Phillies and White Sox play in Atlanta in June and July, I'll never understand.

Will Dodgers give Soto a $400 million deferred contract when he hits free agency?

Rangers baws-

Is David Robertson going to be the main 8th inning option? I’m so annoyed I have Sborz in fantasy for holds cause I thought he’d be the top choice out of the pen

probably not consistently, Boch and Maddux are just trying to figure out what they’ve got out there. If Leclerc continues to be completely wheels off I could see Sborz getting the lions share of save opportunities

right now it seems like Sborz is being used purely as a high leverage guy, regardless of where in the game it is

Leclerc is having issues going back to spring training and they are going to let him work through it unless our asses are in the jackpot. We haven’t had high leverage since opening day.

Also, Joshua H Smith is a ball player.

No ATL Thread because of the snow-out, so I'll put this here.

The Mets signed Julio Teheran today

George Kirby is getting roughed up by CLE today. Five runs on 6 hits.

Yankees beat the DBacks 5-4 in 11 innings.

Arizona had a situation in their last at bat where the pitcher was batting because they lost the DH when they made a sub in the 9th inning and had no one left on the bench. He struck out looking with the bases loaded on a 1-2 fastball that was a foot outside

Excluding Ohtani, I think that's the first time a pitcher has hit in an MLB game since Astros v Braves in game 5 of the 2021 World Series.

They'll probably still sneak into the last spot of the wild card and take down the Braves in the NLDS, but I'm not sure why the Phillies just decided to run it back this season and make no real addition of note.

Not saying this necessarily because of their 2-4 start with two series losses at home to open the year, but just looking at their roster and it feels like there is some serious regression to the mean that can happen. I'm not sure they can afford another lengthy Trea Turner slump.
