It is a game of chicken, who blinks first

Sources: #Dodgers’ three main targets are Darvish, Gray, Britton. Not necessarily in that order; decisions likely hinge on asking prices.
Wait, so it all hinges on the asking prices? Who knew??

Nothing will happen today or tomorrow.

I bet they do. Talks are really heating up

Looks like the Astros want Britton

Sources: Yu Darvish was tipping his pitches in his last start. Goes a long way to explaining why he allowed 10 runs, the most in his career.

Two scouts and an executive said Marlins knew what was coming from Darvish. A slight pause with hands when he was throwing his fastball.

Gleyber Torres and Clint Frazier are NOT the hangup in a Sonny Gray deal, source says. #Athletics and #Yankees discussing other prospects.

In Sonny Gray trade talks between #Yankees and #Athletics, Oakland believed to prefer Florial over Frazier because of defense in CF.

I think Florial is going to be a stud but we have depth at OF on the farm and he's a few years away so I'm good with letting him go

Looking like gray to the Yankees, darvish to the Dodgers, and Britton to the Astros

#MLB #Athletics - Sonny Gray, None - has been scratched from start Sunday (7/30) vs. Minnesota
Posted on 7/29/17 at 5:45 pm to WestCoastAg
Not necessarily "scratched". They pushed him back to Monday. Nothing imminent, just ensures he doesn't get hurt before the deadline. I'd say it signals they're anticipating trading him though.

Teams who are in talks for Gray asked for him not to make another start is what was said on MLB Network.
I think mateo and florial is a good package for Gray. Both future major leaguers

Yeah there's too much smoke coming out about Gray/Yanks. He's headed here.
Posted on 7/29/17 at 5:53 pm to WestCoastAg
Nah you gonna see a team come out of left field like the Cubs with Quintana

OAK has juggled its rotation and now Sonny Gray is scheduled to pitch Monday night, rather Sunday -- because of looming trade possibility.
Posted on 7/29/17 at 6:41 pm to tduecen
That's just a cute way of saying he won't pitch for Oakland again.

The Brewers and Marlins are “engaged in ongoing dialogue” about Miami right-hander Dan Straily, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network (on Twitter). Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald first noted the Brewers’ interest in Straily.
