They have quite the farm system now because of how much they sold off (which wasn’t necessarily the wrong move). This winter is when a normal ownership group likely would have started spending a little to try to supplement that talent coming up, but of course this is the cheapest ownership group in American pro sports. It’s a shame because PNC is incredible and the few years they were good they had some great home atmospheres for playoff games

News: Jacob deGrom has a tight right shoulder, Buck Showalter says, and he may not make tomorrow's scheduled start. Obviously not ideal a week out from Opening Day.

Cody Brllinger is 3-24 with 17ks thus far in spring training.
He's also on MLB's Top 100 list.
The Dodger love affair/bias is so ridiculous.

It's getting as bad as the NY/BOS suck fest.

I understand it, former MVP who is still young and was technically I Jared last year. However, there is no excuse this year

Bellenger hasn't met an inside fastball that he doesn't like.

MLB will now require the umpire crew chief to wear a mic. They will have to do the NFL style explanation of replay decisions.

Question becomes now will the Mets look towards one of the A's other pitchers.
Cahill, Arrieta, Davies, Martinez, Nelson, Teheran, Cueto, Anderson, and Moore are all out there still

Speaking of Kimbrel he had his 4th highest K/9 of his career with the Cubs last year and 4th lowest BB9 of his career as well.

Fair. He had 63 appearances last year.
Jansen also had a resurgence last year. So we shall see.

Jansen did but no where close to his career highs he posted his 11th highest K/9 and his 2nd highest BB9 of his career. His FIP was also the 3rd highest of his career so some luck was involved but he did get his velocity back
