It's just a ridiculous suggestion.

Baseball is known as a meat-grinder of a season. Why mess with it

Because certain teams gross revenue is less than other teams payrolls.

It's a sport where you care about your team and that's it. So the sport is fine.

Attendance, merch, mlb tv numbers, etc are all doing great.

It’s crazy. I’m in Baton Rouge and an Astros home game is on TBS and they black out the game all the way over here…. Like I’m driving 5 hours for a Tuesday night game…

Rednecks always think baseball is dying because they don’t watch it.

MLB is fine. It’s nice going to games and not dealing with as many degenerate mouth breathers as you see at NFL and NBA games.

It sure wasn't at Little Woodrows, we watched LSU and then the end of the Astros game.

Are you sure that wasn’t just bias from specifically where you were located? I would think the World Series would be bigger nationally than a hyper regional college football game

They are actually similar. The World Series now typically averages like 9 to 11M viewers. Alabama-LSU usually does 8 to 10M viewers.

I don’t think most sports fans realize how much more popular football is than every other sport in the U.S.

Absurd argument. MLB is one business. The teams are not competing against each other for revenue. Pepsi doesnt need Coke, like each MLB team needs each other to play against.

Hate to say it but you make no mention of politics and the MLB. Some people like me had enough of the pro sports and their political LGBTQ, BLM, etc… bullshite.

Yes, I am just one person. Doesn’t matter. I have a company and we had Astros, Texans, and Rockets season tickets. Canceled all of them 4-5 years ago.

A lot of people like me with companies and money are spending entertainment money elsewhere. Maybe it is offense…. Then again maybe it is also a combination of other non sports shite.
