He's been lucky to only give up 4 runs thru 4.1 innings, could of easily been 6 or 7 in first 3 innings.
And he's just been pulled.
4.1 innings 7 hits 4 bb 4 runs and 2 on base.

Does Jacob deGrom finish with more WAR or pitcher wins? The rest of Mets are comically bad when he pitches.

I was admittedly just looking at box score but when I posted that it was 6-2 Pirates. Obviously that didn’t last very long

Yeah if they get it back to 5.5 it may still be a long shot but that's still striking distance. Lose both and go down 9.5 and they can likely make plans to host the wild card.

Not to belabor the point on deGrom and the Mets, but I checked out his past ten starts. He is 10 for 10 on quality starts. His record, 1-7.
