Pujols in the lineup batting 5th, Miami is the only park left in majors he has not homered at.

Cole struggling in the 2nd, looked fricking great for 1 innings, needs the spider tack

Cole about to make his 47th pitch of the 2nd inning, walked the 4th batter and he is done after 2 with bases loaded.

.this is the Yankees "ace"

Don't think it is mental but I don't think he is an ace without the tack, he is a solid #2

8-8 4.37ERA in 103 innings since the sticky stuff checks started. Can't wait till Yankee fans start blaming the Astros for forcing them to spend $300 million on a cheating pitcher.

Barf. Better buy your merchandise now before MLB ruins it.

quote:

There will be a new pitch on Major League Baseball fields next season.
The San Diego Padres became the first team to announce a deal for ads on their uniforms, saying Tuesday that patches with a Motorola logo will be worn on the right sleeves of their jerseys.

MLB decided to launch the uniform ads with the 2023 season and said it may start the helmet ads with this year's postseason.

There was a post last year on pitcher ERA before and after the spider tack announcement. Cole wasn't the worse but he was on the list for worst. His ERA was closer to 3.50 at the time minus spider tack which is not what you expect of your ace no matter the cost

It sounds like expansion is a forgone conclusion. Can Nashville work?

quote:

Former All-Star pitcher and three-time World Series champion Dave Stewart is leading a group seeking to obtain an MLB franchise in Nashville, Tennessee, that would be the first majority minority-owned team in major league history.
Music City Baseball appointed Stewart to lead its diverse equity ownership initiative designed to land a big league team for baseball's next round of expansion, likely with the next three to five years, according to both Stewart and MLB sources.
