I mean I appreciate a team going for it. But it's just funny to me they're going nuts on moves while they're 12 games back of the division.

There is no tomorrow for Preller. He's GM'ing for his job.
Besides Soto is the centerpiece and they'll have him for 3 postseasons.

I'm just seeing Padres sending Voit to the Nats to complete the Soto/ Bell trade. I didn't think there would be much room for him after getting Drury.
