Because the 26-year-old Aussie, who's currently plying his trade on Golfweek's National Pro Tour, managed to fire a 16-under 55 during a recent round with his buddies at River Oaks Golf Club in Oklahoma.

One time in Destin I was 14 under until the windmill got me on the last hole.

No one is questioning this?

The proof is really a score card that he probably wrote?

Definitely not saying this isn't legit, but I can play with 2 friends make up a score card, have them not say anything and have as much proof as he does.

Usually takes 20 under or so to win a scramble

Well that wouldn't be in the spirit of golf.

Ok, what does that have to do with your previous statement of a 55 being a 1 over in a scramble? And we won that day btw.

He's just saying that shooting 55 in a scramble is nothing to write home about...four GOOD players SHOULD birdie every hole just like a good player should par every hole.

I see what he's saying now. I have always played in scrambles where the teams were randomly assigned with an A-B-C-D player based on handicaps, so 17 under was actually quite awesome.
