And yeah, for the reasons mentioned in that article I can see why some league GMs, coaches, and staff may be hesitant to pull the trigger as compared to if those mistakes and character flaws weren’t apparent.
It’s the “I've got connections at LSU”, “I know stuff you don’t know about him and the public doesn’t know” nonsense I’m trying to discredit in this thread. I’m not saying the kid is perfect by any means

I don't know how he practiced. I have read about his work ethic in the weight room and imagine that carried over to the practice field.
I do know he played hard in the games and inspired those around him. He may have been a better running back if we had had a more dangerous passing game.
Is he gay? I never heard anything about that until his interview leaks. Whatever his mom did to make sure he was fed will not affect his NFL abilities.
He is about to be a millionaire. I wish him well. I wish him a good OL going forward.

That's called a hit piece. Of course it's from NFL.com also Mayocks employer, this is what happens when you attack Goodell. There really wasn't anything of substance in that. And he's backed off from those claims since he met with the NFL. Roger told him to back off. It's not like those same questions haven't been asked before.
