Get mad all you want, but Gundy is right. You may have actually scored against Oklahoma State, but would have still lost the game.

But I guess you can beat your chests about not losing to Alabama in a hypothetical.

Says the guy beating his chest about another team beating LSU in a hypothetical. This is even worse than your usual troll attempts. Good Lord.

LSU had the 2nd best scoring and total defense and a Top 5 rushing and passing defense that year (Bama was #1 in all 4 categories). Their Big 12 high flying offense would have been shut down.
LSU was Top 20 in scoring offense as well, OkSt was below 100 in scoring defense. Miles would have played ball control all day long.

If the system was like it is now, they lose to bama in the 2 vs 3 game by 30+. They would have never even played LSU.

LSU isn’t losing to a team that lost to Iowa State.

Your trolling is terrible.

Okie St couldn't beat a 6-6 team as a 28 point favorite but would've beaten an LSU team that beat 3 teams in the final top 5?

At that time LSU was scoring maybe 20 points a game and was happy with it.

um what? LSU had scored 40+ 4 straight games before that national title game. In fact they scored 40+ in 9 of their games and only scored fewer than 35 twice up to that point. Gundy may not realize that the Alabama games were not how every game looked that year

Y’all remind me a lot of that 2014 Florida State team that was holding on by a thread all season and got whooped in the playoffs

LSU blew out every team they played outside Alabama. Is it just your thing to make horrible posts?

he's wrong but I will say in both the arkansas and UGA games the offense started showing some issues,

LSU had 500 yards of offense against a top 5 Arkansas team and won by 24 points .

Yes, they were bad against UGA but still managed to win 42-10

I always assumed it would be similar to the West Virginia game. Weeden to Blackmon would’ve had some yards and touchdowns like Smith/Austin/Bailey but LSU would pull away in the end

The more this board disagrees with my takes the more I know they are right. Just saying.

Even in the worst performance ever they held gumps to 21, other time was 3 points… such bullshite that he thinks they could put 30+ on that defense

We fricked up Oregon in the opener, and it would have been the same playing Oklahoma State. The only team that could stay on the field with us was Alabama, and we might have given them a game 1/9/12 had Les Miles had an adult-sized brain instead of one belonging to an 8-year-old.

Everyone was saying that before the Oregon game too, then the ball snapped. Man that was such a fun start to the season with them And West Virginia.
