How nice for Tulane.

Because Toledo had 20 years pro head coaching experience. Right on.

Been out of coaching a while, he's old an has never recruited. But ok

If he can get his son from Villanova(probably a long shot) to come as an assistant, that would be big

Def needs some head hunters.
I'm not questioning his coaching acumen

I can see the potential for that but if he gets some recruiters he can work. It's definitely an improvement on their last few basketball hires.

Did they offer the job to Pasternack?

Tulane needs to let him recruit the players he wants. Previous ADs have killed coaches when it comes to recruiting.

If you can coach, who cares?
Ask Larry Brown. When he took over SMU, it was his first college gig since Danny Manning.

you follow SMU basketball at all?
why would tulane want that to be their model?

Everybody knew Larry would go above and beyond what it takes to get recruits.

I know what happened. Brown will still win because he's that good a coach. Dunleavy coached the Jail Blazers. And he's from Brooklyn too.

Cheating=Winnning=SMU - Tulane says "sign us up"
The reward for cheating in the NCAA far outweighs the penalty. money and exposure can't be taken away
