Celly, I never said Houston would beat golden state. I unlike damn near everyone else here can view my team through the eye of an unbiased evaluator. And not with the red and white glasses on. That being said if Houston loses a series to anyone besides golden state I will self impose a two or three day ban.

The fact that you feel the need to say this so often underscores just how much you know the opposite to be true

He had just watched CC get bent over by the kawhi-less spurs. It was imminent that he would fade into "bolivian".

I've seen few fans more biased than you are.

No I have underrated my team consistently as of late. I go by the motto “if you can say something good don’t say nothing” when it comes to my teams. Nothing positive comes outta bashing my guys online.

Speaking critically and candidly when warranted isn't bashing. It's just telling it like it is.

Like their playoff ending game last year vs the Spurs, that would been an appropriate time to level criticism.

No. When you are my guy and I have an issue with you, I don’t air that out online. That goes for my squads, my family, friends, etc.

If that's true (which I don't believe it is not matter what he says), then he's not playing this game to win. That's his ego talking. He's playing for all of the other stuff, which is fine. But don't tell me how he's a true competitor. True competitors will do whatever they have to to win.

When you're a true competitor, ego doesn't get in the way of winning. It's my personal opinon that Dame's just saying that as a defense mechanism. No one wants to team up with him so it's easy for him to say things like that.

What arrogance to tell another man what he's thinking. Dame says he is happy/ content in Portland right now ( things could change) then I believe he is happy. Some people don't need validation over their "legacy" by message board / media / barbershop experts to be happy.

Chasing rings is silly if you are content were you are and ring chasing doesn't guarantee a championships or happiness( ask Durant) anyway.

This is why guys like Dame Lillard will be forgotten

Forgotten like Dominique Wilkins who is in the HOF and has a statue in Atlanta where he loved playing and did not want to leave ? Ewing? Barkley? Malone?

I can give you a long list of " forgotten" Pro Athletes who have never won a championship.

If you don’t want the easiest path possible by forming a super team you are not competitive enough. There is nothing special at all about a guy who sticks around with the same group of guys he came up with and they grow together as a team to possible champion. who would rather win by making a super team than with their boys that had been through battle with for years anyway

I've always thought a competitor wanted to beat the best not simply join them like Durant.
