I don't care what anyone says.

Brady Hoke is going to have that team a national contender. When Miles was mentioned in going to Michigan, he was one of my choices.

Virginia Tech was clearly the best team and won the game. They deserve a rematch.

I mean its going to move a little when you violently hit the ground.

If the ball hits the ground then moves in the receivers hands, then the receiver didn't have possession. Right call.

It's weird that alabama actually got the rematch by this logic.

Why was that not a false start on the kicker?

Damn the refs missed that one.

I disagree with you. He always had the ball in his hands.

this is on the VA Tech coaching staff. they deserve this loss for throwing in the towel with over a minute left in regulation in the red zone and with a timeout left. absolutely no excuse for them not to try and put the ball into the end zone in that situation. why just settle for a field goal to force overtime whenever you're on the verge of scoring a winning touchdown? poor coaching and just like Stanford last night, karma bit them in the arse.

He didn't have possession. Not that hard to see. The ball can touch the ground it's clear that it moved position his arm and therefore wasn't possessed. I don't care about either of these two teams but that was the right call.

I think you have to maintain control of the ball through landing on the ground to complete a catch(e.g. It can't touch the ground and be moved). I don't think it was a catch, but I can see why some are arguing otherwise.

Edited to clarify

?? they didnt settle for a field goal. they were at the 7ish yard line with 4th down.

I agree, great hire by them imo. It won't be with Shoelace though, they'll have to get a QB more suited to Hoke's offense

I don't disagree that the ball was always in his hands/arms. The problem is that it hit the ground. If it hits the ground, it can't move a single inch, at all, period. If it doesn't hit the ground it can move all over the place and still be a catch. I saw the ball hit the ground then wiggle in his arms/hands on the replay.
