It was def a troll given the kind of smiling picture that was chosen. I read that was a third party vendor who put together the package for them so I'm wondering if it was a Michigan fan who did it.

Seems like this can be attributed to pure laziness. Whoever is in charge of the jumbotron content probably just stole a video from YouTube to play without vetting it.
