Michelle Beadle will leave ESPN's morning show Get Up at the end of the month. She will be replaced by a rotating cast of Maria Taylor, Laura Rutledge, Jen Lada, Mina Kimes, and Dianna Russini.

Michelle Beadle, one of the co-hosts of “Get Up,” ESPN’s morning show, had some interesting comments about football on Thursday. On the show, she went in hard on Urban Meyer and his punishment, but also talked about how scandals like that affect her football fandom.
“There’s a reason why this will be the second season I don’t watch NFL and I don’t spend my Saturdays watching college football either. I believe that the sport of football has set itself up to be in a position where it shows itself in the bigger picture to not really care about women — they don’t really care about people of color, but we won’t get into that for NFL either — but as a woman I feel like a person who has been marginalized.”
“And every single one of these stories that comes out, every single time, pushes me further and further away. I realize they don’t care, but for me it’s opened up my weekends. I appreciate you for giving that to me. I don’t care anymore. I’ve lost the ability to be surprised.”

You're not the only person watching Michelle, but sure let's feminize the whole sport just because you cant handle it.
I dont understand the "people of color" comment. People of color literally run every single sport in the country that makes mega millions and even billions.
P.S. : And if you turn to college football coaches for some sense of morality then idk what to tell you. You're pretty dumb.
If we keep looking up to celebrities and known sports figures as examples of how to act, then we wont get very far.

Play in, not run.

Sounds like I'm really missing out by not watching those ESPN talking-head shows.

Guess she is boycotting big screen movies too.

The ratings for that show are really bad. I'm sure ESPN execs aren't too happy with these comments.

I think a lot of people would agree with her stance on the NFL. I mean, the new rules/penalties and the whole anthem thing has turned a lot of people away from it. Now, college football is still popular, but it’s not a student-athlete game like it was in 80’s and 90’s. Now it’s nothing more than a corporate feel NFL development league that is dirty in every single facet of the game.

Then she should fricking quit her job.
I don't like gay porn so I don't have a job where I watch it and commentate on it.

1. She’s only on tv because she was considered cute and men want to bang her
2. Here job is host a sports show? Seems like a great move

She's a basketball person and they've already said they would have a rotating band of football analyst/talkers to sit in during the season. Her not watching football isn't really changing much.
