I highly doubt he got nothing in this whole deal at the same time I always disliked the Touhy family especially the daughter and think there’s some truth to it. I’m the Larry David gif in this scenario

Sorry I don’t feel bad for the troubled youth with a drug addicted mom who beat all odds to end up a millionaire and receive a free college education?
Seems like a weird thing to be crying about just because the adoption was more a legal guardianship.
Think it’s a pretty fair trade and maybe he should be focusing on how he could help other children similar to his situation like that family did

There's a lot more in that article that seems pretty shitty
quote:
According to the legal filing, the movie paid the Tuohys and their two birth children each $225,000, plus 2.5 percent of the film's "defined net proceeds.
quote:
The deal lists all four Tuohy family members as having the same representative at Creative Artists Agency, the petition says. But Oher's agent, who would receive movie contract and payment notices, is listed as Debra Branan, a close family friend of the Tuohys and the same lawyer who filed the 2004 conservatorship petition,

But it sounds like his "brother" and "sister" are getting royalties and he isn't.
That's fricked... if true.

One thing we know for sure, SEC programs would never recruit a player from a rough background. He definitely needed their help.

Family should have cut it into 1/5ths to begin with and paid him out. That's not good character on their part. You don't take advantage of young kids like that. Will rot your soul.

I knew those people that brought a homeless black kid into their home were racists looking for money.
Obvious fortune telling white supremacist money grubbers.

I don't think anyone is alleging that they are racist.
But it does seem like they took advantage of a situation at the expense of a borderline homeless dude.

Has he been hanging out with Colin Kaepernick?

The sequel is going to be much more interesting than I expected.

More to do with the private tutors and everybody bending over backwards to make sure he doesn’t have to repeat a grade for the third time.
Yeah, seems like he had that handled

How is he screwing them by trying to get money for his likeness and movie royalties?

What you should be most angry about was Sean announcing grizzlies broadcasts for so long

Ok, its been a long time. What prompted him just to question this?
Obviously all of this is driven by money, just like everything else.

Good on the family for providing him that. It's why I think it's laughable that anyone says they're racist, because no racist family in the south would take in a big black dude, especially if they had a daughter around the same age.
With that said, regardless of what the family provided him, Oher deserves to get money for the movies, especially if the other children are still getting money for it.
