I don’t think Mendoza was great but he got no favors from the front office with the roster moves the Mets made this past offseason. That roster is a disaster and it is the second most expensive roster MLB. Honestly, the President of operations/ GM should be fired also.

I dont see that working with this roster. My prediction is Green will finish out this nightmare season and if I had to bet, Beltran will be the manager next season.
He was hired to be the manager right as all the Astros stuff was coming out so they moved on to someone else. Now 6 years later Beltran is still in the Mets organization and going into the Hall of Fame as a Met.
