That’ll set us Buffs back another decade.

Tucker...I can see why Colorado wouldn't match that MSU offer. I think he has potential as a coach, but MSU threw a huge offer at him. He was staying until MSU made a Godfather offer.
MSU is 13th in athletic department revenue and brings in almost double what Colorado does. They’re usually around 20th in football attendance with fans who have shown up for decades despite limited success. They’re in a different ballpark and CO was never gonna pay up like MSU did. You gotta strike when the iron is hot otherwise all of a sudden you’re not the hot name bigger schools want.

Would bet he isn’t at MSU for long either.
If he pulls a miracle there in that division he’ll be on the short list for huge jobs, and if he doesn’t he’ll be on a quick chop block with that salary

Don't care. Still a snake move. Lat night the dude was at a donor event reaffirming his commitment to CU as his agent was busy negotiating with MSU. This is moderately close to what Tubs did to Texas Tech.

I hope Bienemy goes there. The NFL is more interested in retreads and nobodies who had a cup of coffee with Bill Belichick than they are in promoting an innovative coach.

How long before Harbaugh resigns?

Mike MacIntyre looked like he had the Buffs turned around. Then it all went to shite.
He had one year of piling up wins against a squishy soft schedule and then regressed back to what they were every year before that.

They already had a defensive mind. They needed an offensive mind. But MSU has a low bar. If he can win 7 a year he'll retire there.
Dantonio reset the bar. Winning 7 games isn't good enough when you've been to the Rose Bowl and playoffs in very recent history.

MSU fans still have reasonable expectations though, especially with a top b-ball program. If you win 8 or so games there with a 10+ season mixed in every 3-4 years you’ll be good. Dantonio was just atrocious the last few years though with no signs of progress. We just want to be competitive and watch fun football.

MEL TUCKER IS A CON MAN! He recruited my grandson to go to CU said he wasn’t going anywhere then ups and leaves. Sat there and lied to my face he wasn’t going anywhere! So I want to beat him up today on social media. What else can I do?

Scuttlebutt is that CU's AD Rick George found out about Tucker leaving for MSU via twitter last night. Not only did Tucker fail even give CU a chance to counter he couldn't even be bothered to tell George to his face that he was leaving.

Hope he doesn't. He isn't getting a NFL hc job from there unless he pulls a miracle and gets them back to what they were when he played there. And if he fails there he's gonna get knocked down to NFL RB coach level, probably for the rest of his career. There's little upside there for him and lots of downside.

This is a bigger dick move than Kiffin. He left one week after NSD. Those kids are stuck there but he can do whatever the frick he wants.
I think you can get a waiver if your head coach leaves.
