He thought Trent Dilfer was a franchise QB the team was r worded to pass up. Hardly right just cause Tev Alberts sucked too.

ESPN lied incessantly about Shedeur Sanders being great, Heisman front-runner, right out of the gate with their syrupy game coverage, Mark Jones reading his script.

Whitlock talked about this....

ESPN lied and sold a lie for two years (like the WNBA is popular without CC lie) about Sanders....and once caught in the lie during the actual draft, doubled down from the opening bell when Cam Ward was being drafted talking about Sanders.

ESPN created a false narrative for two years and invited every prominent race hustler and installed former athletes to cape for Sanders and promote a racial issue born out of their own depraved agenda. When Sanders was judged by his ability and attitude by the NFL, ESPN fell back on....See, we told you....racism...btw, Mel Kiper said JaMarcus was the next John Elway.

Now compile lists of all the draft misses by NFL teams since 1984.
It's easy to criticize someone who puts their neck out there and makes public predictions in the way Kiper does. Easy for chronic complainers to cherry pick misses in trying to portray a negative narrative.
You take that many swings, and you're going to miss at times. There are plenty of times Aaron Judge has struck out this year if you need more misses to complain about.

Regarding Shedeur and ESPN, has it occurred to you that ESPN might realize the obvious fact that covering Shedeur gets ratings? The way the chronic complainers on MSB have consistently posted (failed) about him and Colorado the past few years should've been an indication for you.
I know that doesn't fit with the "conspiracy" and "agenda" narratives that posters like to cling to, but it's actually true.

Still remember Kiper's rant in 2010 about Jimmy Clausen like it was yesterday... and as a Panthers fan, I cringed hard when I heard the reports that Marty Hurney tried to trade the 2011 first round pick to move up back into the first round to grab him. That 2011 first rounder ended up being Cam.

Shedeur is a slightly better Spencer Rattler with a shite ton of baggage I hope Mel is trolled relentlessly as Sanders fails.

I saw Shedeur play twice against my beloved Cornhuskers and was not impressed. He gets rattled very easily. Remember at the end of the game this past season when he went to the locker room before the game had ended, leaving the rest of the team still out there? I do. I'd be very VERY surprised if he's not a bust.

I mean odds are he is going to be sitting behind Dillon Gabriel.

The owner personally intervened in the draft to get SS selected. If you think there's a snowball's chance Gabriel will be higher on the depth chart than Prime, Jr.; I don't know what to tell you. There's a far greater chance Gabriel will be outright cut or traded than to be above SS. This is Haslam's vanity project.

I mean, if he truly had sanders as is QB1 and #1 player from his evaluations, why wouldn’t he give the Browns the highest grade as they got a top 5 player in Graham and his #1 player in sanders plus more draft picks.

While I wholly disagree with ranking sanders that high, if a team gets 2 of my top 5 rated players AND picked up more draft picks I’d give that team a high grade also.

However, then taking 2 qb’s in this draft AND spending a draft pick for Pickett makes this draft a mediocre one at best.

If that’s the case, then the 3rd round pick was completely wasted and should have been spent on another position.

Yeah you can’t go wasting 3rd round picks. Thats a quick recipe to becoming the Browns.

Oh wait…

Kiper and his ESPN bros are high fiving each other about his return to relevance. People are talking about him again.

People dig in on takes when they’re clearly wrong all the time. Whether it be for clicks or a deflection technique to make themselves feel better. But this has become psychotic, the dude was absolutely losing his mind. It was like watching pride on ESPN

The lack of self awareness by someone of his age and experience is baffling. How can you fail to read the room when nowadays with social media, the room and opinions on it, is broadcast everywhere?

Three years from now you could certainly be looking at one of the elite, top-five (NFL) quarterbacks. Look out, because the skill-level he (Jamarcus Russell) has is certainly John Elway-like.

I believe Kiper’s success rate is about 23%, or lower. And he didn’t just make a prediction, he loudly promoted that shite all throughout the draft like some obsessed lunatic.

Sorta true but if Gabriel and/or SS are at least decent then there’s some trade potential there whichever way you go.
