Media fear mongering over tackle football being so dangerous

They act like 100% of kids who ever play tackle football will get CTE and other chronic football related injuries.

Bunch of vagina pussy parents these days falling hook line and sinker for the media fearmongering. Your kid has a better chance of dying in a car accident than getting some football related chronic injury or CTE.
Weird how my high school team had over 75 players on it and I don't know a single person today who is dealing with any problems from it. If you only listened to the media you would have thought half my team would be dead from CTE by now.

Took my 8 yo out of football and put him into pitching classes. He’s trally developed a nasty curve. Makes kids look silly out there. Best decision I could have made

Yeah, we shouldn't research brain injury effects for fear of looking like sissies.
The idea that repeatedly taking blows to the head is bad for your brain isn't exactly new. It used to be called being punch drunk.
It is a good thing to get accurate data so parents and kids make informed choices.

Get back to us when y'all reach 65

I'd rather them fear monger a little right now and help spur the powers that be (NFL, NCAA, State Football Associations, etc) into action to protect future players, over having no one caring about this and the problems get bad enough that the talks of "banning" football gain more steam.

I think I spotted one on your team.

Then again I’m 5’11” and 185. I would get crushed playing football. I’m not blessed with genetics to take on someone 6’3 and 240 lbs with 4.5 speed. Football is not for everyone.

I doubt you keep in touch with many on a level where they would disclose personal medical info
And by the way you act, why would they? You would just call them a pussy
Repeated blows to your body and head by the biggest and strongest people in the world cant be good long term

The irrationality of this post makes me think you might have a slight case of CTE.

You're not playing against the biggest and strongest in the world at the middle school or high school level. You'd be lucky to face an average of one D1 scholarship player per game at the high school level.

It’s still a developing brain being repeatedly slammed against the inside of your skull.
And you’re a pussy if you’re concerned about that for your child? frick off, nitwit.

So you think not one of those 75 guys have lingering issues from playing football?

You start some outright terrible threads
