Hell yes!!

Takes me back to 1998 when Nicholls beat McNeese late with a TD.

What a way to start a season.

Whomever decided McNeese should open on the road against a conference opponent needs to be fired.

Come on dude, the SLC always has a conference game to open the season. McNeese didn't schedule the first game against Nicholls, the conference did.

And that's not an excuse for crap play. They knew the implications of this game, of a loss. We've beat FBS teams to open the season. Shouldn't have been an issue. You think Central Arkansas is going to come out playing like that against K-State?

Yeah, sloppy game all around, but the Colonels played better. We shot ourselves in the foot too many times, and Nichols did enough to get the win.

Congrats to the Colonels. Rebowe really is building something good down there. And Fourcade is a damn good young QB. Kid needs to learn to slide and avoid some of those hits, but he's a playmaker for sure.

One of many stupid decisions the SLC makes. Playing a conference game to open the season does not benefit anyone involved.

Yeah. We sort of knew that McNeese would have issues on the OL. Last night confirmed that. They were not very good.

No, Down on Bayou Lafourche (as Lyn kept reminding us).

I feel like, while an issue, it wasn't the biggest issue. You can't hold the ball for 40 minutes and lose. You don't hold the ball for 40 minutes if your o-line is bad. Can't give up big plays on defense. The INTs hurt, but that isn't all on the o-line. Tabary has to throw those away if he feels pressure.
