Isn't Smith Earle Bruce's grandson or something? Why yes he is. And Bruce pressured the wife into not filing charges and causing trouble.

Bruce died not long ago. This may put a damper on celebrating him up there in dreary arse Ohio.

This is some awesome drama.

I can't even imagine Baton Rouge if this was Saban instead.

It’d be even wilder when BR realized that the University of Alabama wouldn’t do a damn thing about a situation like this. He wins. Period.

Saban could molest the cheerleaders on the 50 at iron bowl during halftime and coach the second half no questions asked.

Saban would catch hell for this.

He's also not a big enough piece of shite to get caught up in this.

He also doesn't have a fricked up past like Urban does.

You're just a jealous LSU fan.

Is the whole story that Meyer may have known about a coach beating his wife?

Is it just me or are we expecting too much from a head coach? Are coaches now supposed to manage the personal lives of the entire football staff? That seems excessive. Why is urban Meyer the responsible person here? What about this woman’s family, the police, her priest? Why Urban Meyer?

Because he works for a public university and that's the law. A janitor would be fired if he knew about the abuse and didn't report it. You can make an argument the entire staff in 2015 could be on the hook since Smith's ex-wife said all the wives knew about the abuse.

15+ years ago, the HC wouldn’t have anything to worry about in this type of situation. Given the Penn State/Baylor scandals in recent years, plus all the snowflake liberals trying to burn down the country, it doesn’t take much for a HC to get fired.

A 10 year old boy and a grown woman are 2 completely different situations.

I’m confused, I am continually told by the SJWs that women are equal to men in everything. Why is a woman helpless to report her own abuse? Why is Urban Meyer responsible for her protection?

I’m totally fine with treating abuse of a woman as a special situation and considering that woman at a disadvantage and in need of help. But that flys in the face of everything the SJWs that organize these witch hunts proclaim to be true.

you have no idea what it's like to be physically and emotionally abused so you can't understand it

And it didn't take much for Urban Meyer to keep his job FFS.

His minimum requirement was to pass along information to the school. He didn't do that and then he lied about it.

Where does it end?

What if the assistant coach tells you he likes to drive 20 mph over the speed limit while texting and driving?

Should you have to report that?

What if The assistant coach gets in an accident and kills someone and it comes out that Urban knew he liked to text and drive? When do we stop being held responsible for others crimes?

An underage child is a different story. They don’t have the means to seek help.

No I don’t. So maybe we should stop pretending that women are equal to men in every situation. In most cases they can’t physically defend themselves from a man.

I’m not justifying domestic abuse. I’m disputing the SJW claim that women and men are equal in every way and that gender is a social construct. Then why do we treat domestic violence different than just simple assault and battery?

Poor form pal.

Arguing men and women aren't equal because you can beat the shite out of your wife is a bad route to go.
