Since you did not quote anything

Haven't heard a peep about it. It's fireable imho. Professional media have to be held to a higher standard, hence the term 'professional'.

I also know "professional media" is an oxymoron in itself.

He's doing something Carmelo couldn't do. Attention warranted

Isn't that why black players don't receive the same praise? Because they do it every night?

I think he's right to some degree, but I don't it's because he's "not black" as he makes it seem. The point made at the end I especially agree with and I think is definitely true

There would probably also be a lot of hype if, say, a black golfer came out of Stanford and started winning golf majors. Or if, just hypothetically, two black sisters from Compton dominated the world of tennis.

Didn't mayweather hurl some racial slurs at Pacman not long ago? Confusing him with a Mexican, telling him to eat some beans and rice. Man I hope Cotto knocks this fools' block off....

He said sushi and rice I think. For the record I hate Mayweather, but I think at least some of the hype around Lin has to do with the fact that he's Asian. I doubt we'd see quite the same reaction if it was a black guy, European guy, or white American, even if they had attended Harvard or another Ivy League school. The biggest factor in his hype is undoubtedly the fact that he plays in New York.

The biggest factor in the hype is his being Chinese

playing n NY magnifies it

Harvard is kinda intriguing too.... But China is the selling point

The media is desperate for the New York basketball team to be relevant, especially now, in February, that there's neither football nor baseball.

He made a joke about Lin and small Asian penises. ESPN isn't going to mention it thanks to it's content.

I'm sure David Stern loves it because it opens up a 1 billion person market.

I don't think the whole being Asian hype is bad though. I mean, how many Asian guys do you see cutting through the defense to the rim?

I am so sick of black people saying this kind of crap. It's very aggravating IMO.
