Wanted the Mavs to pick him up in the offseason, but the emergence of Powell and Kleber made that a luxury. Now he's needed for depth and has been playing well recently when given more minutes

Makings of a solid little lineup there. 2/3 spots rotating between Hardaway Jr, who has the ability to absolutely catch fire or go ice cold at any given time, and the young guys Finney Smith, Brunson, Jackson, and Wright. Those guys don't provide anything incredible, but they are decent young depth that provide some hustle.
I'm not sure that the Kevin Love rumors would become much of anything. With his lack of defense, not sure that he would help this team a ton anyways, especially for what he would cost over the next 2-3 years.
If the Spurs blow it all up, Derozan would be an incredible pick up, but don't see it happening. I'd really like Dallas to find a 3 and D type player who could play the 2/3 spots...but not sure how many of those are out there. A guy with a Klay Thompson skillset would have a field day playing with Luka on the court.
Maybe a Bogdonovic, Gallinari, Igoudala type move.
