Well it's rather true

Of course the steroid crap discounts HR's but 56, .400 511 are all more important numbers than anything the NFL has to offer

Period.

So then that makes that the Drew that got his record broken by Peyton, right?

Drew's Drumming of Peyton in the Super Bowl is the most lopsided super bowl in the past 10 years.

Broncos fan. Don't care. Take away the 7 yards, take away the record. He's still the first QB to throw 5,000 yards and 50 TDs in a season.

Peyton had more passing yards, though.

I think Cardinals having the Steelers on the ropes in XLIII is one of the more lopsided Super Bowls.

I forgot about that. That's what.. another 75 or so yards? Or would it get subtracted from his total?

I could care less who has this record. Records and stats are for losers.

But it looks like a lateral to me. It should be reversed and 7 yards should be subtracted.

From ESPN:

quote:

In one camera angle, the pass to Decker looks like a lateral, which would make it a running play. Another angle, from above, shows Decker receiving the ball at the Broncos' 48-yard line, with Manning slightly deeper than that.

Also:

quote:

In recent weeks, Manning has said the touchdown record was more significant because it represented the result of an offense scoring points as it tried to win games. Even Sunday, after he'd set the yardage record, he replied to a question about that mark with: "I don't really have much to say about it, to tell you the truth."
