It's extremely bold. They're picked to finish no better than 2nd in the PAC12 South.
Their D-line and O-line is weak...Alabama and Ohio State would steamroll them this year if they played.
USC is still in the..."we have great skill players" position..."but we don't have what it takes to win Natty's...the trenches"...
Riley needs a 2-3 years to build this thing back up like Carroll. Despite all the flash of Bush, etc. Carroll won in the trenches with extremely talented O-lines and especially All-American D-lines.
