Barry Sanders is the GOAT RB.

He was the all time leading rusher and retired in his prime, wasn't allowed to be traded and thus retired because he longer wanted to play for the loser lions.

Brady was absolutely a game manager in his third Super Bowl appearance.

He completed almost 70% of his passes in 33 attempts, threw for almost 250 yards and two TDs. I suppose those are game manager numbers but they're also efficient numbers.

His teams averaged more PPG in their losses than they did their wins.

Considering they only lost two games that season it's fairly difficult to discern a pattern there.

People should go back and look at Brady’s first few titles.

Brady was taken so late because Drew Bledsoe was a Pro Bowl QB who had already taken the Patriots to a Super Bowl. However, to say they were good during that period is stupid. They were mediocre at best, having gone 17-15 the previous two seasons and firing their head coach as a direct result of the downturn. Not to mention the fact that the Patriots went 5-11 during Brady's rookie season.

They had like 15-20 guys on that 01 team that were on the 96 SB team that also made the playoffs in 97 and 98.

Brady and Mahomes have never been on the field playing against each other.

Football is a team sport, sport.

This is the worst the nfl has been in awhile or ever in modern play, no comparison to past dynasties.

Based on what?

Brady has Mahomes beat in league MVPs, Super Bowl MVPs, overall Super Bowl wins, and overall passing statistics.

They're also playing two different sports as the football of 2001-2005 is not the same sport as 2019-2023.

Longevity stats and team stats

There are plenty of metrics to see that Mahomes is superior, including your eyeballs.

This is how people set career records, my dude. Patrick Mahomes could blow out his knee, be diagnosed with some life-altering disease, or pull an Andrew Luck and just lose interest in the sport within the next three years.

If he wants to be tGOAT he has to match tGOAT's numbers. The eye test is not enough.

For that era, no he wasn’t. He led the NFL in passing yards 2 years before Moss got there

He has the 4th most passing attempts that year - 77 more attempts with only 350ish more yards. Manning still had two more TD passes than him.

Brady played 23 seasons. Mahomes has played 7.
