The rules and what the referees actually call are different. If you leave your feet and don't try to block the shot and body the offensive player, the foul is usually called.

Howard had done the same thing twice in that quarter, and they didn't call it.

The first time he did it on Wade was an awful non-call. Bodied the frick out of Wade, then his hands came down and he tried to block it at the last second and slapped Wade's arm.

They let Howard foul because he is fouled every time he gets it at the offensive end, but it's not called nearly as much as it should be.

He gets tackled more than a running back and there are always non calls. Jeez the dude has one tech till he's suspended. Usually just for something jovial.
