Meh, I was more going for the joke because everyones talking about different crap in there game thread
. I just hope the Celtics don't have to go up against them, I don't see Murphy and Baby really defending Howard.

It's really not even about this year. Do me a favor. Go look up every single media outlet's predictions before the east finals two years ago. It was pretty funny.
That team rocked, i wish they hadn't tried to play Jameer in the Finals though, Rafer and Carter were doing fine.

Aghh...missing the point my man. Whatever, no biggie. It's just been a constant trend ever since Orlando became a contender.

He doesn't. Think Bobby Jackson when he came off the bench with the Kings.
I was listening to it on the radio, but Dr. Jack was talking about how pathetic a ball handler he was after he through away 3 possessions in the 4th.

Sorry, to hijack this thread once again, but I just read about it some to refresh my memory. It basically agrees with everything you said, and also it noted that there was a few inconsistencies with her evidence. FWIW, by on the case, she is a whore
Oh I don't doubt that she was a whore.
Just saying, who the hell really knows.
All good.

His knee is still not right. But he can still shoot and score.

They just have to lock down on the shooters and make D12 work hard. Rondo's size will give Jameer problems again but having JRich, Q, and Hedo instead of VC and Matt Barnes should help the Magic.

Vinsanity is a shell of himself. Barnes was the only person (other than Howard) that scared me last year. Freakishly athletic, which Boston can have problems with.

I think that's the best way. Let HOward get his points and you can still beat the Magic.
But start doubling him and letting those 3 point shooters have a chance at getting hot can really get a team in trouble. Like Cleveland in 2008, though with Big Z at center, Dwight coulda been going for 50 each game if they didn't double.

No chance a bunch of aging jump shooters beats a healthy Celtics team. The Celtics are staaaaaaacccckkkkkeeddddd

That Magic team had really good chemistry, they had to overcome some tough moments like going down 3-2 to Boston and LeBron's buzzerbeater.
Posted on 3/3/11 at 11:46 pm to shel311
The Cavs real problem in 08 was that they couldn't even defend Orlando's shooters if they went man on Dwight. Their only perimeter defender taller than 6-2 other than Lebron was Sasha Pavlovic IIRC, which was brutal with a bunch of 6-10 guys raining threes

Do you know who chased Rashard Lewis out to the peremiter in game 4 when he nailed that dagger to put them up 3-1?
Friggin Ben Wallace. We had mad mismatches that series.

Yeah, Lebron was the only person on that Cavs team capable of guarding either Rashard or Hedo, which meant that one of them had a crazy mismatch at all times. Either Hedo having 7 or 8 inches on Delonte West or Anderson Varejao or Wallace trying to chase Rashard. shite just didn't work brah

Not to mention Stan coached circles around Mike Brown, who, I still think is the highest paid cheerleader in the history of sports.

Mike Brown got so desperate he started trotting fricking Terrance Kinsey out there in crunch time

LOL, good point.

Well, I think with the way Orlando's coming together right now, a Magic/Celtics series would be a lot closer than you think.
We'll see.
On that note, I'm out. Been a fun thread.

Now that the Celtics have traded Perkins, probably.

Vince wasn't on that team....he was still with the Nets.
And I was at that game in the ECF when Lewis hit that clutch shot which I think sent the game into overtime. Amazing game
