Possibly.
Instead he got stuck with a great organization with a winning history, a great coach and a good o line.
Oh no doubt. He is very lucky for the situation he fell into.

I will say, they OL was pure trash for half the season, though.

He’s throwing 70+ completion percentage in the NFL.

Helps when you don’t throw the ball further than 5 yards down field and to RBs out of the backfield.

He is still playing well and will be good/serviceable in the league

He's around 15th in air yards stats for QBs. That'll continue to go up as they have now opened up the play book for him.

Since October, he is averaging 8.1 yards per attempt. Which would be good for 7th in the NFL

187/261, 2113 Yards

Also leads the league in % of drives ending in a score 49.6%

5th in points per drive at 2.5

6th in 3rd down conversions 45.4%

7th in scoring offense 28 ppg

But their redzone offense is not good, 24th in the league in TD%. 55.6%

If Mac Jones had Chase, Higgins, Boyd, and Mixon he’d be statistically the best QB in the league, probably.

Now give him those same guys and put him in Cincinnati. Does you statement still stand?

This is spot on.

PS: Mac Jones has a noodle arm for being so young.
