Your point is dumb. Guys are having game totals only 10 points more than what you say they need in a half but you say they're flirting with the record. They're no where near it based on the pace you say the need.

you take my use of the term 'flirting' to mean something akin to 'threatening'... its not the same thing. you struggle with semantics.

guys having 70+ points with minutes to go in the 4th is in the ballpark of what it takes...all i'm saying is that if someone catches a bit more fire in the 1st half, then at that point it becomes 'threatening' to the record.

maybe your brain is too small to comprehend this simple concept? i think it might be, no offense.

and Westbrook

Yep. Westbrook never developed a consistent jumper. Which would have helped tremendously once his athleticism started declining.

No it's not. If he's scored 70+ going into the 4th then he's in the ballpark of what he needs.

Yes just catch fire to a point no one has ever done. They should just catch fire and score 100 in the first half and get it over with.

Sure he nailed a bunch of 3s but he also just walked to the basket for easy layups. Whatever happened to contested drives?

Exactly. I'd like to believe that I'd this were sometime in the 80's/90's, someone defender would show a little pride by about...oh say the 10th easy layup in a row.. and at least give a hard foul at some point. I don't mean some Draymond-level shite, but a good aggressive whack to at least make Luca think about going in there.

Kobe had a game no one else ever in the league had had, and he still needed 19 more, which is a good game for most of the league

It’s only a matter of time before wilt’s 100 points record falls. You can tell flirting with that record has become trendy and now everyone wants to go after it It might happen this season.

Holy overreaction Batman. “Flirting” as in still 1/4 of the way.

73 on 33 shot attempts is insane. Throw in the rebounds and assists and this might the best game anyone has ever played on a basketball court

If you don't have an elite rim protector who is in good position, all you're doing is fouling to foul, and likely giving them free points with FTs while putting your bigs in foul trouble.

Oh, so it's not even about defense, just some stupid macho aggression.

There is a reason why no team is this stupid these days.

He’ll be break Labron’s scoring record before his career is done.

I like Luka but no way will he break that record. Luka probably retires early thirties. He doesn’t keep his body in good enough shape

NBA types should consider making Belgrade and Zagreb NBA cities with the level of talent coming out of the area
