No you were not right at all.... Boston was a garbage team.... it took their best player to score 50 just to win one game... the Bucks will be a much bigger challenge... btw who you gonna put on Ginnas?????

Luka probably has the best chance for a white, Euro player to be the "face of the league". Its still hard though.

Kind of depends on how good Zion becomes. If he becomes on par with Luka then it will be Zion. If not then it def could be Luka.

Agreed. By the way, has there ever been a non-American "face of the NBA"?

It probably won’t matter. Giannis will get his, but you can’t double-team any of that three-headed monster in Brooklyn. You have three guys who can all go for 50+ a clip. I don’t see Milwaukee keeping pace.

The Nets have big men, Andre Jordan is sitting it out, they've chosen to play the small ball stuff. If the Bucks start measuring them early I suspect they will have to play him. But that's Mike D'Antoni sitting over there on the bench acting like he's not drawing this offense up. So, who knows.

Durant has always prided himself on his two-way skill set. Maybe he matches up with Giannis out of necessity. I'd pay to see how that works out.

He had a top 5 teammate (ie the most help of any star) and got very lucky with injury in nearly each round.

They will double him if he is close to the rim and then recover to shooters. Switch pretty much everything else. Let Giannis shoot whenever he wants.

It doesn’t really matter. BKN has the best two players in the league, they are both healthy and well rested. they have way too much offense.

Defense is about effort. BKN can play defense when they need to.

That is why offense is much more important and valuable. you can’t be great on offense just by trying hard. Defense, different story.

He's been very lucky since he was 18 and joined the Cavaliers. 18 years later he's still the best player on the planet. No man that has ever played this game has ever had his level of size, speed, physicality, and basketball IQ. He could make an all-star team at virtuality any position he chooses. One of a kind.

The only reason he is that lightning rod is because he has been so dominant. Otherwise, why would people bother?

He hasn’t been the best player in the league in years statistically. Not even close really. He didn’t come close to taking out the KD warriors. I am curious what criteria says he is the best in the league.

When he has the best help he wins, when he doesn’t he loses. So he is like everyone else in that regard.

And the same will be for Jim, except he needed two top 10 guys, LeBron hasn't for his last two titles.

I appreciate how boom can push a take super hard for an entire year, only to just completely push the total opposite of said take when the original is proven wrong and still act like he's been right the entire time

In Cleveland he had 2 all star caliber teammates

In LA, he had a top 5ish teammate.

Harden never had either of those situations in his favor. Now that he does you will see him win his title and be the best player on the sqaud.

When harden has one all star v GSW w KD, he went 5-8.

When bron has one all star v GSW w KD, he went 1-8. Only win was when already dow 3-0.

Giannis put it best as he picked up his second MVP trophy. "LeBron is the best player in the World."

Why is he so sure? He's played him. Takes all the redneck politics right out of it.

That is one mans opinion. You know who has won the mvp that the players vote on more than any other player?

Harden of course. He is the players MVP multiple times winner.

You know exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to your take on the lakers all of last year all the way up until it became obvious we were winning the title
