As we saw with Jameis Winston, this doesn't always work.

Sometimes you go to the police with evidence, and they call up the football coach to build a cover-up. Then you get called a cleat-chasing, gold digging whore for 3 years, and your rapist earns $50 million in the League while picking up another sexual assault.

I’m not saying there aren’t ppl who may have handled these situations wrong, but it seems like “journalists” are making a habit of blaming everyone except the ppl who allegedly committed crimes.

They also treat allegations as confirmation of guilt and skip that whole due process thingy. By the time the dust settles, one way or the other, all anybody remembers is LSU BAD! Coach O BAD! and that’s exactly what they want.

I like how she says he has to be fired, period. No arguing with her, she is right and you are wrong. So listen to your media masters.

Most of this didn’t happen under O and it seems like most of the blame should fall under the Title IX department.

yeah this is a mountain being made out of a mole hill, primarily b/c the targets are already gone

i think most everyone knows i'm not a big fan of O as HC but it's utter bullshite to the point of insanity to point the finger at him for this

Also, every single one of those players except Guice were dismissed from the team

and i think LEO was involved in every case

Guice was a problem for every level b/c his victim wouldn't fully cooperate, iirc

She outdid herself today.

Oh Boy

The Masters, one of the most beloved and homogenous events in American sports, was played this past weekend.

Congratulations are in order for winner Dustin Johnson, but relative to other years, no one watched Johnson’s five-shot win.

Plenty goes into that, of course; the tournament even moved up final-round tee times to avoid competing with Sunday’s slate of NFL games. But that competition for attention has plagued every sport the past few months, and the Masters wasn’t spared.

And it wasn’t because of raised fists, anthem kneeling during songs or BLM pin flags.

So stop.

is not why fewer people are watching sports on TV, maybe all that plus historically low World Series ratings and a steep drop in Stanley Cup Final ratings will.

Because those leagues aren’t exactly on the vanguard of social justice, either.

You know who is? The WNBA.

Its ratings were up substantially this season.

Let’s start talking about that

Its possible there were some kids that were going to grow up to be respectable journalists.

They might also be the ones to never get the chance because LSU paid players with funds stolen from children's hospitals.

Pieces of shite

What do you expect from a fan base and institution that embraces STTDB as their mantra. They are who they think they are...
