Huh? That's how you are taught to catch a ball above your waist.

Well, thanks to RichRod he has about a gazillion scatbacks to compete against.

BTW, the Michigan sites think that every recruit they get is the second coming of Christ.

I'm assuming he was on the run and was making a basket catch. Like everyone does no matter how you're taught.

eta: The angle the ball is coming in is curious, though.

Do you mind me asking how you're related to the Dileos? I know them pretty well. Drews a good guy and a good football player, looking forward to what he does this year.

Uh....wrong. The truth is that Dileo is not an SEC caliber player, and did not hold a single SEC offer, not even from Ole Miss. Best offers were Michigan and Stanford. He's a tier-two player. No offense to Dileo's relatives or friends.

looks like he's running either an out or a flag route because you can see the endzone paint behind him. The picture looks like he catches with his eyes closed.

He's returning a punt or kickoff. I don't see anything wrong with the way he's catching the ball.

are we ignoring UM's talent void under Rod and the style of player he was recruiting? He wasn't an SEC caliber player, his other offers should tell you that.

Ya....LSUs style of offense is not built for 5"10 171lb white WRs.

So Drew's mother's father and mother are the same father and mother as yours?

Dileo to Michigan was surprising. My brother coached him. Very good athlete, but size was always going to work against him. I don't know enough about Michigan or the Big 10 to say how he'll do, but I know he'll work his arse off, represent the program well, and make the most of any chance he'll get.

Not sure he'd do anything at LSU. Maybe a slot receiver at the end of his career.

I'd say he's shorter, though memory may fail me.

There is a guy on Michigan's defense from the New Orleans area who is much more of a miss than this guy.

Carvin Johnson?

If that is whom you are talking about, he didn't have many BCS-conference offers beside Michigan.

Didn't say he did. Didn't say LSU needed or wanted him or that they should have offered. All I'm saying is that he would be more of a miss than this kid considering he started for Michigan last year.

Neither one of them, as of now, is a miss for LSU.

Hope they both do well up there though because they both have talent.
