The Dave Bliss treatment has been in my mind since this was announced.

Giving it to a middling Baylor program set them back about a decade.

Giving it to Louisville likely destroys them completely in the short term. Coming back to elite status means finding another elite coach and the new administration likely won’t put up with the kind of bullshite that Petino and Petrino have pulled with their respective programs.

If Rick Pitino survives (again), he will become the most infallible man in the history of sports.

He will have survived a mistress trying to extort him for money, bringing strippers into dorm parties for players and recruits, and an FBI investigation into fraud with the shoe sponsorship. This is all on top of the normal shadiness of his recruiting tactics.

He's like a decade of SEC Football coaching scandals rolled into one person.

A writer for some Louisville paper has been posting videos of assistants loading boxes and bags into back of cars.

Different cars, so multiple firings going on at Louisville this morning.

That was kind of a given since he was given an ultimatum to fire Petino and refused BEFORE this shitstorm hit.

Petino may survive the day but only because he requires 10 day notice. He’s a dead man walking.

Articles had been saying that the school president had wanted to clean out the athletic department and was refused by the AD.

Firing the AD means that the school president can now tell the acting AD to fire everyone.

This is going to be good.

I can only think that today may be the first domino to fall and a lot of teams/coaches are sweating bullets right now.

It needed to be done. A good house cleaning is what the program needs. A very sad day though that it came to this. Wouldn't surprise me if Petrino gets fired

What was the attitude around Jurich prior to yesterday? Seems like a pretty decent AD. Never was a big fan of Teflon Don Pitino but LVille made their presence shortly after jolting C-USA

Maybe the Feds will investigate shitty eating habits, indict Bert and we can hire Bobby back.
