vs. Alabama State
vs. Oklahoma Baptist
vs. Maryland Eastern Shore
vs. Southeastern Louisiana
vs. Alcorn State
vs. Prairie View A&M
vs. Grambling (Bossier)
vs. LSUS

vs. Florida Gulf Coast - only worthwhile game

I go to all the home games, and I will be bored out of my mind until January. The program has a lot of momentum over the last few years - talk about an energy killer. Our RPI will be so low that we're pretty much already eliminated from the NCAA tournament. It would probably take a 3 or 4 loss year to get in.

They should reschedule LSUS and replace them with LSU for an even easier schedule imo.

What team would come to Ruston to play? The at home winning percentage there is one of the best in the nation over the last few years.

It is pretty much a L for most teams going into Ruston......Tech has had some smooth talent the last 3-4 seasons...looks like the new coach is doing well in that regard, which makes it tougher to get quality games at home.

I had never heard of Maryland Eastern Shore until I looked at the schedule.

Also, Tech beat LSUS by 30+ last year... I vaguely remember a bunch of tiny white guys running around, but I might be getting them mixed up with Millsaps.

I make a handful of games each year and thought about buying season tickets this season just to suppprt the program, but I can't bring myself to pull the trigger after seeing that schedule. It's terrible.

How is strong is CUSA as a basketball conference? It used to be okay, would send 2-3 teams to the NCAA with Memphis and UAB holding it down.

They play grambling, a team 10 minutes away, in bossier city, 45 minutes away? Nice.

They are a one-bid league now, because shitty schedules like this are RPI-killers.

5 HBCUs, nice way to pad the win total there.

Our OOC schedule isn't much better.

14 Nov - v. Texas-Rio Grande Valley
16 Nov - v. Milwaukee
19 Nov - v. Savannah State
22 Nov - v. McNeese State
30 Nov - v. Jackson State
10 Dec - v. UAB
13 Dec - v. Monmouth
21 Dec - v. Incarnate Word
30 Dec - v. South Carolina

Our early season tournament (hosted by NORTHWEST FLORIDA STATE COLLEGE) has us against Providence and either Iowa or Virginia. Plus a road game at Ole Miss and at Oklahoma.

Blech.

They've been DI since 1970 and have yet to earn an NCAA Tournament berth.
